Boys are not as fond of jewelry as girls. Those who like wearing jewelry are much lesser in number compared to girls. The most popular types of jewelry among boys are bracelets that have heavy links, rings are also quite common. In fact rings are even worn by boys who are otherwise not fond of wearing jewelry. Beyond these, tiepins and chains are also popular among boys.

When it comes to metal silver is preferred over gold by boys. One can frequently find soccer lovers wearing soccer ball bracelets and pendants that have been set in white gold. Furthermore, St. Christopher pendants and crosses are worn by girls as well as boys.
